The Coffee and a Little Girl Layout

Thursday, December 29, 2011
So today, I'm going to share my last scrapbook layout for the year 2011.
I just can't believe that this year is almost over.
And I can't believe myself that this year I did more scrapbook layouts than the years before.
I'm going to count how many scrapbook layouts I'd done and let you all know...so stay tune!!!

Anyway....here's my layout titled 'The Coffee and a Little Girl'.

Phoebe was only {a little} over 2 years when she had the first Ice Coffee drink.
She loved it..{can't you tell from the picture? LOL}

This is also the first time I used a gray cardstock as my layout baseand I gotta tell...
I'M LOVING it!!!!

This page was made for a couple different challenges, the first one is over at Scrapbook Challenges Forum
and the second challenge is Simon Says Stamp Blog for Anything Goes Challenge.

Well...that's my last layout!! {sob..sob}
So...until then Scrappers.

Crayon Monogram Letter ~ Teacher's Gift

Wednesday, December 21, 2011
Hello...4 more days until Christmas and I can't wait.
I'm almost done with Christmas Shopping...just need to get one more thing for my hubby.
I kinda wait until the last minute...because I can't keep the excitement a secret.
You're probably wondering...can I still get him something he wants at the last minutes...??
The answer is YES. He's a kid at heart...and getting him a present is FUN and not so hard.

Anyway...enough about that...

Today is the last day of School for Dustin. He will at home with me for about 2 weeks.
So...yesterday...I made a couple of Teacher's gifts {He has two teachers}.
Again...last minutes things..but it turned out quite nice. OOhhhh let me say...I LOVE IT!!

I made the Crayon Monogram Letter for each teacher. You might have seen this around..specially if you follow pinterest. I decided to give it a try and I'm just so happy with the result and probably will
make more for my kids.

So...here it is...{just one of them}

and some closer looks...

This is just such an inexpensive gift.
I bought 2 boxes of crayons and it only cost me .94 cents {.47/each box from Walmart}
the frame or shadow box was on sale at Michaels for $3.99 + 25% extra..= $2.99
A total of $3.93/each...How about that, right?

This isn't really necessary for teacher's gift...you can make this for your kids or even for yourself.
And like I said earlier...I made two of these. To see the other one...you can  my video HERE.

I guess that's for today.
Thank you so much for stopping by.

Winter Warm Wishes Card

Tuesday, December 13, 2011
Hello my dear scrappy friends,
It's been a little quiet here in my blog. I'm still doing my December Daily...just need to catch up a bit.
Other than that,..our lives have been a little busy during this Holiday season.

Anyway...I have a Holiday card that I made for The Robin's Nest blog.
It's so easy to make and so glittery pretty and adorable....
So, here's my card...

It didn't take me long to make this....and I have to admit that the pretty papers and the die cut embellishments do the job.

To find out more about the product I used..be sure to check my post over HERE.

Well...I hope in this busiest month of the year...you all still find some times to create and have fun.
Thanks for stopping by and take care.

"The First" Layout ~ Sketchy Thursday Challenge

Wednesday, December 7, 2011
Ok...so a bit last minute...
I decided to a make layout for Sketchy Thursdays Challenge. It's due in a few hours...:D

When I started the layout...I was a little confused and didn't know what to do...
I've been making my December Daily in a smaller scale...so 12x12 paper was a bit shock for me earlier.

Anyway, here's my take on the current sketch challenge.

A lot of Amy Tangerine's stuff for sure ;P

Well...I guess that's for now...
My scraproom was a mess due to my 3-year old daughter scrapping with me, so I gotta clean it before
I make the next project.

Have a good one.

Hello All,

For this one, I made a 4x6 page. I want to mix it up a little bit for FUN...
On the front page {or the first picture}...I added a cork paper to give some texture and it turned really nice.

Well...be back again tomorrow.

Ohh One thing before I go,
If you're visiting my blog from Ali Edward's blog
please let me know...because I want to make sure I visit yours too.

December Daily 2011 ~ Day 2, 3 and 4

Monday, December 5, 2011
It's Monday...and it's super cold here.
We had Snow over the weekend and I had to work Friday and Saturday night {over nights}.

I didn't miss my December Daily..I only missed posting it here on the blog.
So, today you will see some pictures from Day 2, Day 3 and Day 4.

So far...every things are going as I planned and I really enjoy it so much.
In case you're wondering...I didn't do the foundation pages a head of time.
It's kinda scare me....Here's the question that always comes in my mind.
"What IF the foundation pages don't go well with the pictures?..."

Well....let's not wait any longer.
Here's the DD day 2.

Now, DD day 3.

Day 3 is probably my fave layout so far. Don't get me wrong...LOVE all DD my layouts,
but this one I used a patterned transparency and went really well with the pictures.

And last but not least...DD Day 4 {yesterday}.

That's my recent DD pages.
I probably haven't mentioned it, but I plan to do 31 days instead of 25. So....I still have 26 days of pages to share with you. I hope you enjoy it.
If you do...check back again soon.

Have a terrific week..
Stay warm!

December Daily 2011 ~ Cover Album

Thursday, December 1, 2011
The first day of December and the beginning of a new adventure.

You must have heard about the December Daily that Ali Edwards started a few years ago.
Well, I've decided to join the FUN and start my own 2011 December Daily.

Last month...I looked and looked around for inspirations. I wasted a little time and started this album a little bit late....:D lets say I just finished the cover today...LOL.

So, here's my December Daily 2011 Album

It also took me awhile to decide the theme or colors.
I finally went with the traditional Christmas Colors, and I have to admit that I just LOVE it.

Here are some pictures of the album

Anyway....I'll be back tomorrow with the first day of December Daily.

Hope you have a terrific Holiday Season.

Can I Kiss You Layout

Wednesday, November 30, 2011
Today, I made a quick scrapbook layout based on  November Sketch over at Jillibean Soup Blog.
Here's the sketch created by Julie Bonner {always LOVE her sketches},

and here's my layout,

On this layout, I used the "Homemade 6 Bean Soup" collection. Love this collection so much! I also added some burlap tags on top. I had a hard time choosing pictures for this sketch, but finally decided to go with these cute photos of my kids when they're little.

If you're wondering about the messiness on the right side...Yup I did that in purpose.
To me, those paints makes the layout more playful.

I'm also entering this layout for Simon Says Stamp "Anything Goes" Challenge.

Anyhoo, thank you so much for stopping by.
I wish you all a wonderful and blessed December..{still can't believe
today is the last day of November}.
It's gonna be a busy month...so I hope you still find some times
to scrap and have fun.

I'll see you again real soon.

Portable Movie Layout

Monday, November 21, 2011
Ok...I'm not really sure if there's even such thing called 'Portable Movie', but I decided to title my newest scrapbook layout with that.

So...here's the story {happened a few years ago},
My hubby and I were watching a movie on TV, then my {little} two kids wanted to watch their movie. Since we only have one TV, they had to use a portable DVD and watch the show. They sat on the lazy chair together and just enjoyed the film. They both looked so cute.

Anyhow...this my layout about the story.

There are times when I do not know what to title my scrapbook page...but when I come up with something
I always LOVE it!

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you a wonderful week.

There are some challenges that I'd love to play along and most of them are due by Sunday, November 20th...{yea..I'm a little procrastinator}.

Anyway, for today layout is based on a challenge over at My Creative Sketches Blog.
So here's my take,

I LOVE the way this page turned out! This is also the first time I used a black cardstock as a base.

Well...this is all for today, a short post, and hope you like my scrapbook layout!

Showin Off Layout

Wednesday, November 16, 2011
Yesterday, my kids and I had a crafty time together. They painted their toy cars {oh yeah...my baby girl plays cars too :D} and I made a scrapbook layout. The house was a mess and the wood floor turned brown and black. Despite all those messiness we all had so FUN playing.

I let my kids play with watercolor paints...because I, myself, was playing with them as well.
I'm a simple scrapper but occasionally I love dirty hands and messy page...
Anyway...let me show my creation....

I used my new stencil that I bought from Michaels. It's by folk art, and I love the design. They have many different choices.

This layout will be entered for a challenge over at Scrapbook Circle Blog. It's a Sketch Challenge.

I regretted that I didn't take picture of my kids playing. They were so funny and had paint all over their face. It was almost time for my hubby to get home from work...so I decided just to clean up the house and gave the kids a bath.

Well...I'm pretty sure I will do this again with the kids. Winter days like these...it's so perfect to bond with the kids and get crafty.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
See you again soon. Stay warm too!

The Numbers Layout

Monday, November 14, 2011
Hi and Happy Monday Scrappers,

I did a little organizing in my scraproom a few days ago and found a layout kit that I put together. I did this a while ago and not sure why I didn't finish the project.
Anyway...I finally finished it and wanted to share. So, here it is...

These pictures were taken almost  5 years ago when Dustin was born.
I titled this "The Numbers" because it's all represent special digits about him, like ~ the time, the weight and the day he was born.

I used the older kit collection from Close To My Heart called You Rock. If you noticed the sticker on the bottom ~ The Baby Fact ~ I bought that since I was still pregnant with him.

I'm just happy that I finally did the layout :D
His fifth birthday is coming up in a few month...and I think I need to catching up with him or I will never finish his scrapbook album.

Well...I guess I will see you all soon.
Have a great week.

Fall Smash

Tuesday, November 1, 2011
Happy Tuesday dear scrappers....
It's the first day of November and I'm so excited :D A lot of things are going on in our family every November. Birthday, and another birthday, and more birthdays, then anniversary.
Oohh and lets not forget the day light saving time, and Veteran day, and Thanksgiving and last but not least Black Friday. OOpps we also will do some more yard cleaning {my kids love playing with the falling leaves} and I'm gonna do some early {scrappy} Christmas shopping {for Christmas Swap with my dear scrappy friend}.

So many things to do.....
So I decided to record the memories in this....

I bought this Smash book back in March when it's just released. It's so popular and sound {and look} FUN...I told myself that I have to have one.

I was planning to use it as a Summer Mini Book...but then when I found out I had to make my own Summer Mini Book for a DT project, I put this book away. I finally took it out and decorate the cover.
I can't wait to just play with this book.

Well...I wish you all a wonderful November days.
I know it's gonna be busy days for some of you and I hope you record those memories.
Thanks for stopping by.
