Hello again Scrappers,
I'm back...and this time I want to let you know that I have some very special guests from
The Robin's Nest. They're here checking out my works. Yay...so excited :D So....WELCOME ladies to my Crafty Life Blog. And please...get comfy.
Today, I'll be showing you another simple scrapbook layout. Not only that, but I also will be sharing the whole process. So...I hope you bare with me. It's going to be a {bit} longer post, but it's gonna be FUN.
Here's my finished layout.
I really like simple layout. I believe that less is always more. And that's what this layout is all about.
Now..let's me show you how I did this.
1. I decided to go with 2 main colors...light green and light purple. So, I picked this patterned papers from My Minds Eye Lime Twist {Happy Go Lucky} Collection.
The first patterned paper I cut measured 6x12 then I adhered it to the cardstock right in the middle.
2. The second patterned paper ~ I cut at 3x12 and adhered it horizontal on the {half} bottom of the cardstock.
3. Another patterned paper was cut at 2x12. Then using scallop punch, I punched the edge {one side}. I glued it on top of the flower patterned paper.
4. Then I covered the line between the flower patterned paper and the green polkadot paper with a dark purple ribbon. That's all. I then glued down the pictures.
Now the fun part begins.
Embellishing. There's no right or wrong way to do it. It's basically -> you let yourself play and have fun. On this project...I decided to use some rhinestones. I added on top and on the bottom, also in the middle.
For the alphabets, I used white foam stickers {pretty boring}. I decided to painted to the matching colors.
Then, I made a
handmade flower from pipe cleaner. Here's the supplies you need to make this easy and fun flower.
* Using two different shades, I cut the darker {pipe cleaner} color in 3 inches long. I need 6 total for this size. The lighter color, I cut at 2 1/2 inches long and I need only 4.
* Punch a small circle and apply glue all over it.
* Fold all the pipe cleaner in half.
* Arrange the darkest color {of pipe cleaners} on the circle cardstock to look like a flower.
* Then cover the middle of the flower with another punched circle.
* Arrange the lightest color on top
* When done, cover the middle of the flower with button and bling.
* Let the adhesive all dry.
Now...back again to my layout.
Lastly, Final Touches. I added felt leaves and some sentiments.
All Done. PPphhheewww. Fun right?
I'd like to enter this layout for these challenges:

Time flies, and I hope you scrapbook every precious moments.
