About Me

Hello Everyone,
I’m Tenny and Welcome to my Crafted Life Blog.

WHO am I?
I am a daughter, a sister, a mom, a wife, a caregiver, a teacher, a friend, a crafter, a blogger and most of all I am a memory keeper, a.k.a a scrapbooker.

I was born, raised, and spent my teenage years in Indonesia. I left my home and my family in 2000 and went to College in Lincoln, NE, USA. I was studying Nursing for a few years in College, and then I realized that it’s not my true passion. So, I left school and began to explore life.

I’m happily married to my husband whom I’ve known for many years {we went to the same Middle School}. Together, we’re blessed with 2 beautiful children, Dustin and Phoebe.

WHEN all these started?
I started scrapbooking when I was still in College {2002}. It was on and off for several years. In 2007, when I was pregnant with my second child, I decided to be a Stay-At-Home mom, and a real scrapbooker. It was a pretty interesting and challenging decision…but I LOVE it!

Through Scrapbooking, I met lots of new friends, started a blog, made YouTube videos and also found out what my true passion is.

Colorful Colors, Photographs, Beautiful Graphic Design, Pretty Papers, Awesome Acrylic stamps, Paints, Embellishments, Canvas ~ these things make me very HAPPY!!!

WHAT happened now?
In early 2012, my husband and I found out that our petition to live permanently in the US was rejected. After a long wait {7 years}, we both decided to leave the country and go back to Indonesia.

Living in Indonesia isn’t easy…especially with 2 US citizen kids. Our lives changed and we’re facing daily and probably long terms obstacles. We all try to live our lives with our heads held up high, chins up, courage and faith.

On this blog, you will find all kind of things…but mostly is about my life journey and my love of scrapbooking.

Lastly, thank you so much for stopping by and please don't be a stranger.
LOVE,
