Camera Ready Layout ~ Frosted Designs Sketch # 43

Tuesday, June 12, 2012
Hi guys,
I still love blogging and scrapbooking..but these past few months I have been busy and I just can't keep them update or going like I used to. So..I hope you understand if this blog is kinda quiet.

I do {however} LOVE to share my projects that I created for Frosted Designs Layout Sketch Challenge. I just enjoy being on this team!!

Anyway...here's the latest sketch challenge {#43}

and here's my layout

When I saw this sketch for the first time {a couple months ago}, I kinda don't like it. However, a few weeks ago...when I decided to work on this project...I found out that this sketch is actually fun and CREATIVE!!!

So...I hope you like what I created and again don't forget to play along.

Have a great week, and Take Care.

Pretty in Dress ~ DYSU # 28

Thursday, July 14, 2011
Another Thursday....Another New Challenge over at Do You Stack Up {DYSU} Challenge Blog.

Here's this week Challenge {#28},

and the sponsors for this challenge are Mami Doodles and Robyn's Fetish

And now, my creation for this week. A scrapbook layout I titled Pretty in Dress.

I used an image from Mami Doodles ~ Ligia Playing Dress Up Collection.

Recently...I've been using digi images on my scrapbook layout. I have to admit it's different and FUN and I really enjoy using it. It's another great way to embellish your page. If you haven't given it a try...you should. Perhaps you can play along with this challenge.

That's my inspiration for you. Thank you so much for stopping by.
Have a great day.
Hugs,

A Card for Father

Tuesday, June 14, 2011
I'm back today to show you my finish Fathers' Day Card that I made for hubby.

Here it is,

and some really closer looks :D

The digi image I used on this card is from Pollycraft {when they had a freebie day}, then I colored it the only technique I know ~ Regular Colored Pencils and Gamsol. Then I added glossy accent on the glasses. This image is so cool just like hubby.

The second image on this card, the big checklist image, is a stamp set from Close To My Heart. I heat embossed it with black emboss powder. The stamp set is one of my many CTMH fave stamps, because you actually can personalize the personalities. Those personalities I picked just like Leo's.

The last stamped image on the bottom is from Studio G stamp set that you can get from Michaels. Again I heat embossed it with blue emboss powder.

Patterned papers are from My Minds' Eye Stella and Rose {Hattie} Collection.

Lastly, I used a {this week} sketch from Sketch Saturday Challenge Blog.

I'd also enter this card into some challenges:
Sketch Saturday ~ Weekly Sketch
The {Paper} Trail Maker Challenge Blog ~ It's a Boy only Challenge

Hope you like this as much as Leo {oh yeah...he already saw this :D LOL}.
Thank you for stopping by, and be sure to come back in the morning for SP and Company DT Wednesday post. Have a great day.

OOOOHH Wait, before you go.......
I went through my new e-zine issue from SNR Volume #4 issue # 6 and found out not only 1 layout got published but 3. I was so suprised, because they said only 1 layout...but instead 3...:D I'm not going to tell which layouts, you will find out next month {or find them in the new issue}.

Anyway...you should check the SNR e-zine, they get tons of ideas and inspiration.

Ok....that's all ....THANK YOU. See you all soon.
Take Care. Hugs,

For this special release day, I made a scrapbook layout.
I'm a scrapbook diva among the SP & Company  designers, and I'm super excited to include SP & Company stamps into my creations.

So, here's my layout.

One of my fave pictures of me and Dustin on his 3rd birthday. Birthday pictures are fun to scrapbook.
On this layout, I used Lovely Label Stamp Set to give a {very special} personal message. Also, this layout was made based on a sketch from Nuts About Sketches {Birthday Sketch #1}
Let's take a closer look.

Isn't the stamp so pretty??? LOVE it!!!

Anyway, I don't want to hold you too long here. You still have plenty of new projects to see.
So now....HOP to Mistyrose's Blog and again don't forget to leave a comment.

Laugh Layout

Thursday, May 5, 2011
Doilies are HOT in the scrapping/crafting world these days. Seriously, a few months back...I didn't really know what doilies are {LOL}. And now....I have quite a few of them in my scrapping stash.
I have seen so many scrappers and artists use doilies in lots of creative ways, and today...I had a chance to play with it.

I was pretty excited when I saw Creative Scrappers sketch # 154...and I knew right away that I have to play along. Here's the sketch.

And here's my layout.

I decided not to use the real doilies on this layout. Instead I used stamped images from {My Minds Eye} the new Stella and Rose stamp. Love those doilies stamps, and I had tons of fun using it.
I also splattered some acrylic paints on the card stock to give a fun look.

The pictures are my son, Dustin, and my hubby, Leo. Dustin was just a few months old when these pictures were taken. Today, he's 4 years old. Oh goodness....time flies really fast. I love these photos so much.

Some closer looks on the layout.

The alphabets for the title were pretty boring. The color was just blue. So, I stamped some images using SP&Company Scripty Scripts Stamp, and it turned out really good {so much better too}.

Anyway..hope you enjoy this layout.
Thank you for stopping by and have a great day.
Take care. Hugs,

My Cute Boy Layout

Friday, March 25, 2011
I made this layout for last week Sketchy Thursday Challenge. When I finished the layout...I felt there's something missing or incomplete from my project. So, I finally added something. And I'm happy the way it turned out. However...I wasn't able to submit this....because I was late :( oh well!

Here's the sketch

And here's my layout

I love these pictures of Dustin. He was only 3 months old. I'd been waiting for awhile to scrap these photos and finally did it.

I used My Mind's Eye Stella and Rose Hattie collection..{LOVE Stella and Rose new lines}, and the Bear on the right bottom is a digi stamp from Pink Cat Studio. I colored it using regular colored pencils and gamsol. Just learned this technique and love it!!

Here's some close looks on the layout.

If you're wondering....I added the hand stitching around the layout at the last minute (and still couldn't make it for the challenge deadline. LOL).

Well, thank you for stopping by. Have a great weekend.
