Hi Everyone,
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. Mine was pretty good and fun.
Just in case you're wondering...what did I wish for Christmas? OOhh..I'd be happy to share with you :D
I'd never received Scrapping/Crafting stuff for Christmas. So, this Christmas...I wish I got more and more Scrapping/Crafting things. My husband knew about it..and he took me to Michaels and Archiver's for a shopping spree...Yay :D
However, I didn't stop there....I signed up to 2 Christmas Swaps (Secret Santa Swaps) on Scrapbook.com
I want more Scrapping stuff this Christmas......
And later, I hosted a Christmas Swap on The (Scrap) Beach. I was very excited!!!
So now....I'm going to share with you my swap goodies.
The first one is from my secret Santa from Scrapbook.com and her name is Lisa. Look what she got me!
Awesome right? Lisa is AMAZING. She picked great stuff and most of them were from my wish list. She also made me great handmade items. THANKS LISA.
If you want to see me opened these gifts....please visit my YouTube Channel.
The second swap on Scrapbook.com was disaster. I'd sent mine to my pal, but I've never gotten mine until today. She told me that she's mailed the package out 3 weeks ago...but BUMMER....nothing. T-T
And my third swap, the one that I hosted at The Scrap beach, is still on its way. I know...It's supposed to be Christmas Swap. Well, my partner is from The Philippines...so it takes a while longer to get the package.
Anyway....packages or no packages. I had a blast and am blessed this Christmas.
Well, Thank you so much for stopping by. I'll see you all soon.

Special Stitches
Saturday, November 27, 2010
Today, I'd like to share with you a very special Scrapbook Layout that I made for a challenge. I came across this awesome blog challenge site called ABC DT Challenge, and this month theme is SEW SIMPLE. Basically, I have to use some kinds of stitching on my project.
I was pretty excited about this....because I knew right away what I was going to do. I have this Bazzill stitch'z 8x8 round template that I bought awhile ago and had never used it before. So, this template and the pictures of my children taken last Summer were the two inspirations.
Ok...without further ado -- here's my creation.
A little bit about this layout -- I made it pretty simple and clean. I wanted to use only 4 primary colors, blue, red, green and yellow, through out the layout. And I DID :D
See those circles..Yup those I made using the bazzill template and hand stitched them. It was so much fun.
The spiral roses/flowers and the leaves were made from felts. And the alphabets were white thicker alpha foam stickers and I sprayed them with Apple Candy Red glimmer mist.
Well...I just LOVE LOVE this layout :D and I hope you do too.
If you'd like to see this layout live and find out more about the products I used, CLICK HERE.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

A Swap in A Bottle
Saturday, November 20, 2010
Katrice, a beach babe at the Scrap Beach, hosted a very fun swap that I have never heard or joined before. It's a bottle swap. It's basically just a regular swap...instead of you putting the stuff in a box, you put them in a bottle. I signed up for this swap right away. I started to LOVE and ENJOY the unusual scrapping swaps.
My partner, Allyson, was a wonderful and very talented scrapper. We exchanged info and found out that both of us had the same scrapping style, and I think it's awesome.
So, here it is --- my bottle swap from Allyson.
And now...are you ready to see what's inside -- the great goodies Allyson sent me.
I was so speechless when I opened the bottle and went through the goodies one by one. I felt that I was so spoiled. :D LOL -- I LOVE it ALL!
Another thing that made this swap was so special -- Allyson's handmade creations are just GORGEOUS! She made stick pins, flower and Tim Holtz charm. THANK YOU so so much Allyson.
Well..if you have a chance to join a bottle swap like I did, I suggest that you sign up for the fun. You never know what you might receive. To me, this swap is like finding Janie in a bottle.
Have a great weekend.

Handmade Burlap Flower
Wednesday, November 17, 2010
I've been hanging out at The Scrap Beach a lot lately, and while I was there...I signed up for a few different swaps.
Ok..I'm not new to the swap world, but the swaps that I joined there...were basically something that I've never done before. The first one I joined was handmade flowers swap hosted by Miss Lyla. The challenge was simple -- used the color chocolate. It took me about 2 weeks to come up with an idea.
This wasn't my original idea. I watched Lorinda from youtube and her adorable burlap flowers. So, I gave it a try on my own way. I really LOVE the way it turned out.

I had a blast making these flowers....and definitely will make more.
I went out of my comfort zone...trying something new....making something that I've never thought I would use -- burlap. And the result was AMAZING :D
Until next time with another swap.

First TWS Swap Goodies
Tuesday, September 28, 2010
Earlier last week, my mailman brought me a package. Yaaayyy..:D It's swap goodies from Valerie.
Valerie was my September Mini Kit Swap partner over at the beach.
Wondering about the beach? It's actually an online community for scrappers. The real name for this community is The Scrap Beach. This beach is popular. It has more than 1600+ members, and I'm so glad I'm part of it. Lots of talented artists hang out here. I joined this community about a month ago, and already met so many wonderful scrappers.
Ok, lets go back to the swap goodies.
At the beginning of the month, Valerie and I contacted each other. She asked me what kind of kit I want. I told her that I'd like to start a mini album about my family, however, I left everything else for her to pick out. And look what she got me.
Valerie is so thoughtful. She got me so many wonderful items with lots of details. She chose the color Purple, Green, Blue and Brown for this kit. I LOVE every things especially those handmade lollipop flowers (aren't they just so gorgeous?). Thank you so much Valerie!!!
I can't wait to start on this mini....
Thanks for stopping by. I'll see you soon.

For the Love of Books
Friday, September 24, 2010
When I'm not scrapping...I'm probably cooking or watching and playing with the kids or reading books. I always LOVE books and recently I've became a book reviewer. So, there are times when I read 2 or 3 books in a month. With this being said...I always in need of bookmarks.
I like going to Barnes and Nobles or Christian Bookstore and pick really cute bookmarks. However, I always have a problem with those bookmarks.
You know that ribbons/threads that dangle on top...yeah that's the problem. My two curious toddlers love playing with it. They pull the bookmark out of my book page...and then bbaaammm I loose my current reading page. I hate when that happen. So, I have to figure out something crafty to replace the bookmark issue.
I found a video tutorial by Splicoaststampers on making a corner bookmark. It's easy...and super fun.
Oh yeah....problem's solved.
I gave it a try and look....
I used mostly Close To My Heart products on this project. The pattern paper and card stock are from Unforgettable Paper Pack collection. The flower and the word 'dream' are from Aspiration Stamp Set. I embossed the word. Also, since I don't own lots of border punches...I used a scallop punch and added pearls to make it look prettier.
Anyway, this how it looks on my book page,
LOVE it!!!! So, what do you think??
I'm thinking about hosting a swap on this corner bookmark. Can't have enough bookmark in one household....:D
Check back my blog again soon....and I hope you all join the swap fun.

I'm Tickled Pink
Monday, July 12, 2010
Update: April 13, 2011 -- This layout has been published on ScrapbookNewandReview Online Magazine. My first publication!!! YAY!!
Lately, I've been organizing family pictures and I stumbled on a portrait of my daughter when she was just 10 months old (it's 10 months ago). Oh my gosh, Phoebe has been growing {so fast...}, and I LOVE to see all the changes ~ specially her hair. Right away, I knew that I have to scrapbook the picture.
I pulled out a kit from Close To My Heart called Tickled Pink. This kit was actually an intensive from 2009 National Scrapbooking Celebration. When I got this kit, I knew that I would use this for pictures of my daughter. I just waited for the right time and the right photos.
So, after found the right picture and time...I created this LO. I used a sketch from Creative Scrappers.
Anyway, here's a bit about Tickled Pink Kit. I LOVE everything in this package...from the paper pack, die cuts, embellishments, stamp set and even the color combination. Too bad this was just an incentive prize...Close To My Heart didn't genarate this anymore. However, they always have great incentives and I always am excited.
Well, thanks for stopping by today...
Have a great week.

Whoo Loves You
Thursday, July 8, 2010
I was feeling creative last week, so I tried something new. Something that I had never done before. I made an Easel Card. At first, I thought it's going to be so complicated....but it's not. I totally had fun making this, and definitely will make more.
This card is measured 4.5 x 4.5. I'm using Close To My Heart Veranda paper pack and Whoo Loves You stamp set. I have this stamp set for awhile and always wanted to use it ~ I was just waiting for the right moment :D
What do you think?

Tool Box
Monday, June 28, 2010
I meant to post this project last week on Thursday. However, thing didn't work as I planned. My 19-month old daughter had an emergency and was rushed to the hospital. Anyway, she's doing so much better now, and we actually had a great Fathers' Day.
Let's go back to the project. I made this tool box specially for my husband. He needed a new tool box. So, on Fathers' Day, my children gave their dad this tool box....and later on that day, we surprised him with a real one. He was very happy with 2 tool boxes.
This project isn't hard to make, and doesn't require a lot of supplies. Also, you can go above and beyond to decorate it. I chose to leave it as simple as possible.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I'll see you soon.

Fathers' Day Card
Monday, June 14, 2010
It's less than a week 'till Fathers' Day. So, a few days ago, I made this card for my husband, the father of my children :) I've learned to make the Shirt Origami from a fellow CTMH sister, Nona Pearl . It's really easy and fun.
I tried to type a pdf. tutorial for the shirt, however...I've never done something like that before...and I screwed up. So, I chose to type it here. I hope it helps.
1. Take a 4x6 patterned paper
2. Fold in half the long way
3. Then fold in each side to meet in the center
4. Turn over so flaps are facing down
5. Fold 'the top' down 1/2 inch
6. Flip back to the front side, and fold in the flaps so the corner meet in the center
7. Fold the bottom flaps out to make the sleeves
You can leave the shirt as is, or add brads for buttons
I have a couple more projects to share specially to celebrate dads. So, be sure to come back tomorrow. Thanks for visiting. Have a great day!!

Love Card ~ ICS # 67
Monday, May 24, 2010
Last week, after seeing all my handmade cards, my husband complained that I've never made him a card. I felt so bad, and told him that I'm going to make a very special Fathers' Day card. His respond was, "No..not Fathers' Day card. Something special for me."
So, last night...I stayed up pretty late and made him this "I Love You" card.
Mission Accomplished!

Welcome Baby
Thursday, May 20, 2010
A couple of friends from college just had their very first baby. And, this weekend I'm going to see them. I'm super excited. This two couples are very special to me. They both did my wedding pictures free of charge as a wedding gift. That was amazing present. So, I made this special card to welcome the baby...
This is the first time I made 5x7 card, and I LIKE it! Also, I'm entering this card to Frosted Designs Blog Challange. This week challange is to show the RAINBOW colors in a project. This entry is my very first submission to any blog challanges out there, so I'm a bit nervous.
Well, I hope I'll make the top 3 designs this week, if I don't it will be okay. I had fun making this and the most important thing is my friends and their new baby will enjoy my handmade welcome note.

You're A Star
Tuesday, May 18, 2010
Last week, I was in the mood of making of a Graduation card. It's that time again, when some of us are celebrating loved ones graduation. This card helps honor the graduates by telling them that they are the stars. A simple yet very colorful card highlights their success and achievements.
Then, a few days later, I made a matching Gift Card holder/Money Pocket.
So, here's the whole You're A Star handmade package.
FYI: I made the envelope too. I don't have any 6x6 envelope on hand, so I gotta made one.
This is really a fun project to make, and I had a great time creating it.

Bday Card
Wednesday, April 21, 2010
I've always wanted to try one of the sketches from Mojo Monday - The Blog. So, yesterday....I gave it a try. The card I made didn't really look like the sketch. However, I really like the way it turned out.
This Birthday Card was specially made for a friend that I just made in Cyber world. Her birthday is coming up this week...and I had so much fun creating this for her.

Easter Caboodle
Wednesday, March 31, 2010
One of things that I'm really thankful for in life is COLOR. I love all kind of colors...pastel, bright,or basic. I couldn't imagine how my life would be without it.
This spring...I fell in love with Close To My Heart paper packs, especially this Caboodle kit. It features bright and beautiful color combination.
So, I decided to do some Easter projects using this kit.
This basket is so easy to make, and so economical. I used half a sheet of pattern paper and half a sheet of cardstock. How about that...???
If you still looking for DIY Easter projects to share with your children's friends/playgroups, this basket might just do it. Feel free to email me with any questions.
Well, I gotta go and make something else. Check me back later....

My Story
Tuesday, March 23, 2010
It all started when I was pregnant with my second child.
My husband and I decided that I should stay at home and take care of our children. To me, it's a brilliant idea. However, after worked full-time for few years, I wanted to do somethig more rather than just being a stay-at-home mom.
I love scrapbooking and papercrafting, it's in my genes. So, I spent some times in the internet world looking for something that I can do (at home) to support this hobby. It didn't take me very long when I found Close To My Heart, a (direct selling) scrapbooking company. The products are amazing. Basically, it's love at the first sight.
I emailed a consultant and set an appointment to get to know more about the company and the opportunity to be an independent consultant. Jackie Moline explained how fun it is to create beautiful scrapbook pages or make cards. She even let me play with her acrylic stamps. I had a blast!!
On October 10, 2008, I signed up to be Close To My Heart Independent Consultant. Since then, I met a lot of wonderful and very talented CTMH sisters.
Before I joined with Close To My Heart, I didn't know much about stamping. Now, I scrapbooking and stamping...and I LOVE IT.
